Today I am so excited to share this project with you! I was recently put in charge of the 5 and 6 year olds in church, and I need an activity that will keep them busy for at least an hour! That is a lot of attention time for them. So let's get started.  We talked about Blessed are the peacemakers. Not only was this great for my class, but for my kids as well. I'm going to show how to make a cute puzzle! First, print what you want to be the puzzle. This can be a picture, flash cards, anything you want. Then place on you PixScan mat and take a picture just like the one below. Upload the picture to Silhouette Studio It is hard to see, but I overplayed the puzzle cut out onto of the picture.  Send to the machine and cut it out.  Now I wanted this to be a magnet, so I copied and paste the design. I did this so that it would match up perfectly.  *The PixScan was in landscape, I flipped the image to portrait. The magnet paper is portra...

I love my Silhouette Cameo and one of my favorite projects that I have done is make mustache tattoos. Today I will show you how to make temporary tattoos.  First, select the design you. With Silhouette Design Studio, there is an endless supply of designs. Place registration marks, this will help to know where to put the design. Copy and paste as many as you would like, offset the design (this will give it the outline to cut, if you prefer). Print on the white paper of the  printable Tattoo paper  .  **If you have typed words, as in the example below, be sure to mirror your image** Once printed, place the clear sticker sheet on top, place on mat, and cut out the shape. Place on desired area with a wet cloth for 20 seconds. The paper will slide off and your image will remain! My kids thought these where the greatest things! We Played all afternoon with our fake mustaches.  These are great for kids birthday parties, family get...

Hello!!

Image
I have been wanting to give my throw pillows a new look, without breaking the bank. So I quickly made a new slip cover for my pillow. Pick a design in the Silhouette studio, and adjust to the size needed. Example my pillow was 17 1/2" and the heat transfer vinyl (HTV) I had was 9x12. I tried my best to get the image to fill all of the material so it would look right on the pillow. Once you get the size you need, test it out on a piece of paper to ensure that is the correct size. **BE SURE TO FLIP YOUR IMAGE** Cut out your image, weed, place on material and press HARD! Place the cover on the pillow and ta-da a whole new pillow!!

D.I.Y Print and Cut

I am always looking forward to the next holiday, especially in the winter. I wanted to have a fun printable that I would love. I created this in Silhouette Studio and it didn't take very long. I am going to show you how to make it for yourself. Ready? Good!! Supplies: White Cardstock Color printer Silhouette Cameo Designs Needed: Clovers Design #75118 Got everything you need? Great! Let's get started!!!  #1 Determine the size you want the printable to be. I wanted mine to be a 5"x7". Create a square 5"x7" (or your desired size) Make sure the "Locked ratio" is unchecked. #2 I wanted stripes, and for them to be evenly spaced. Create another square with the dimensions 5"x.5".  Used the align tool to bring it to the top and center it. #3 Now the next step is what makes the Silhouette so great. I need it to go all the way down the page, so instead of copying and pasting, click the "column of four...
