Family Home Evening Binder

Image
Sorry I haven't posted things for a while, I have been helping my family move, and in the mean time found a great project to work on. My mom had some really old Friend Magazines. I took them and remembered the Idea I saw from Printrest. The magazines where taken apart and categorized for FHE. The link is here . I modified it to fit my needs, and to make it fit in one binder. First is the Fun Stuff  Then the Proclamation to the World  Articles of faith  Tabs to organize it The front of the stories Pioneer Stories New Testament Stories Christmas Easter The middle of the magazines there was board games that I glued to file folders I love my Laminator and When I saw the cards for the board games, had to laminate them!  Sites I got stuff from: lds.org  Scriptures Stories Articles Of Faith Just remember you don't have to reinvent FHE it is already easy and ready for you! Enjoy!

Hot Pockets

Need a dinner Idea? I have the perfect one for you and your family! Kids loves these, and you can get as creative as you want. Homemade hot pockets! Love these! First make pizza dough, roll it out on a baking sheet, cut slits on the long sides, and put in the toppings, down the middle. I do pizza, and ham and cheese hot pockets. Fold the cut ends over in the middle, pinch and let raise about as long as your oven heats up. Bake at 350 for 25 min. Get creative with it. Make a veggie one, one with all your favorite pizza toppings, do ham, turkey, cheese, whatever you want in your hot pocket! Pizza Dough: 3 Cups Warm Water 2 TBS. Yeast 2 TBS Oil 1/4 Cup Sugar 1/2 tsp. Salt 3 Cups Flour (I use more like 5 1/2) Makes two hot pockets! Let raise for about 1/2 hour Ham and Cheese Pizza Hot Pocket

Every Party we go to there are Peanut Butter bars, and I always wonder how they are made and how hard are they! I found a couple recipes and ta-da I made them! The recipe was so easy! Salt 2 Cups Flour 2 Cups Oatmeal Bake 15 min at 350 Frosting: 1 1/2 Cups Peanut Butter 2 Cups Powdered Sugar Add Milk about 1/2 cup or till creamy When the bars were cooked, I let them cool and then spread the frosting, but I wanted more so I melted some chocolate chips and spread on top. Valentines Garland

Image
Today while Sadie baby was napping I made a quick garland out of felt. I got the Idea from Pintrest. I saw it a couple times and I decided to make one. I quickly drew a heart, x's and o's on some extra felt I found from another project. I cut them out, sewed them together and ta-da... I have a garland!
